And who says nobody is watching the Rockets?

Anyone else think the Rockets are going to get more games next year on National TV?

Remind me of Yao vs Shaq II is one of the top rating regular season games...

Could have been number1 if Houston wasn't in blackout!

    Sadly, that's likely true.

Not to be a party crasher but are you for real? This has nothing to do with Rockets being relevant. We only recently got more national attention recently because we beat 3 title contenders(though I don't think Portland is one) in a row.

Only reason there was so many views for that game was because of ONE man named Lebron James. Maybe...just maybe it might be because the dude dropped 61 points the other night before and people excited to see how he'll follow it up?

Would have been blacked out in Houston regardless of CSN issues.

The point was so many people don't have CSN that if it was not blocked out the ratings would have been insane.

Even if everyone had csn, you still wouldnt be able to watch it on nbatv. That's just league rules.

NBA TV is always blacked out locally even if 100% of us had CSNHouston.

I would love to think it's because we're relevant (because we are) but you guys have to remember LeBron was coming off his career high 61 points. Perhaps they were expecting a repeat, which thankfully for us didn't happen.

What he means is since most of us don't have CSN, NBA TV cast would've been number 1 if blackout rules didn't exist (I don't know what the point of blackouts are, surely there's a logical reason that I don't know of).

When you have polarizing players such as Dwight & Lin, plus one of the best if not the best sg in the league on your team, you damn better get attention.

i think LBJ and MIA underestimated us, LBJ got the career high playing extended minutes in a blow out game the day before they played us, when they lost to us, LBJ blames it on fatigue...like duh?? i say we go to MIA this Sunday and win it there as well!!

So that the local broadcasts gets the viewers. NBA TV just broadcasts the local feed on their channel.
