To be fair, Melo was shooting well heading into the playoffs. He is just not making shots so far today.

Then drive. Post up. Do something else. He jacks up the same shots and LBJ gave him more space each time.

You can only be hot for so long.

EDIT: jesus, Heat's 3pt shooters are so bad it's disgusting. And Novak shows why he's the best 3pt shooter.

Am I the only one who's annoyed by Miami's white-out stadium? It hurts my eyes.

Knicks are lucky to be down only 5. They are hanging by a thread because of BD's shooting.

But I do give props to Melo for doing the other things when his shot is not on. He usually disappears like a ghost when his J is not going.

this is why the heat would have loved to have faced philly. b diddy, jr smith, carmelo are all guys who can get confident and just go crazy on you. throw in novak's 3's and chandler's rim defense and the knicks are so dangerous. if you play good D on philly, they won't score. against the knicks, they might score and drain jumpers all over the place.

and that battier missed 3 (although he already made one earlier) is another example of something the heat's role players haven't provided for 2 years now. the momentum 3. every time they have a chance to finish a run and get the other team reeling, they miss. they just can't make them in a row.

case in point of everything i just said. battier misses an open 3, bosh misses a layup, wade misses 2 free throws after novak stops him (!!!) and then jr smith jacks up a 3 and drains it and it's a 1 point game.

LBJ is easily the best 2-way player in this league. He's just putting on a clinic on Melo on both ends.

Knicks need to put Amar'e in the high post and then use a high low to get the ball to Melo

could chris bosh be flipping up layup any softer? 2 point blank misses because he tried to flip it up quick before contact. the heat are putting on a layup and free throw missing clinic in the last 4 or 5 minutes.

Battier is giving the Heat this lead. Why did he go to the dark side :(

With athleticism gone Amare will be a dumb one-dimensional player who's severly overpaid. It's sad.

you could have probably said there wasn't enough contact for a charge there but battier was definitely there and amare certainly moved into him for no real reason considering he was only 3 feet away. and battier actually makes the momentum 3 this time.

look for some calls to go the knicks way the next few minutes after woodson just b****ed out the refs. i'm thinking a foul on lebron for bodying up carmelo on the perimeter.
