That was super easy. Heat win by default because the Jazz and Mavs don't deserve to be rooted! Ever!

I am rooting for the heat. Since it seems like the popular choice to hate them, I am going to root for them.

true...even when lbj did not win one game in the finals a few years back, the media was riding his jock straps. imagine if they actually won a game. so i guess you are right, either way, if the heat goes to the finals, the hype is going to be unbelievable, actually even if the heat misses the playoffs, the media will have FIND a way to praise lbj and blame it on his teammates/officiating/rules/the game of basketball...

You're exaggerating quite a bit there. JVG was the one who started the whole thing and although he does TV now, I still don't really consider him part of the media because he's really a basketball coach.

Even over at ESPN, where they're obsessed with the Heat, more than half of their "experts" didn't pick Miami to win the title.

I would definitely rather have a lockout for the entire 2011-2012 season than have the Lakers, Jazz, or Mavs win the title.

Where is the "Dan Gilbert with a bomb strapped to his chest" option?

Not watching the series doesn't change the fact that the (obnoxious/bandwagon) fans of those teams get to rub it in that their team won. It doesn't change the fact that it goes in the history books.

I didn't watch the last two Finals, but I still wanted the Lakers to lose because I hate them.

I'd rather any team win than Dallas. Utah is second on that list.

The Heat was an easy choice.

Because even a**hole fans who are truly basketball fans are better than just pure a**hole t-shirt/bandwagon fans. I've gone to games in all those places and Dallas and Utah have a lot of legitimate basketball fans, even if they lack common decency oftentimes.

In my opinion, the Heat just pulled a Yankees, and I could never root for such an organization. There is a difference between rivalry hate and respect for the game hate.

I don't hate the current Jazz. They have some good players that I respect. You guys need to let go of the past.

I would root against the Heat for sure. Not a big fan of LeQuit, D-Wade (the D stands for Douche) or Christy Bosh.
