This has to be a hoax. Besides Perkins being pathetic, the big 3 in Miami dislike him strongly, especially Wade.

 

Add this to Riley's bizarre public 'pitch', it further proves the Heat are DESPERATE. This reminds me of when the Cavs were throwing money at Wally Z, Big Ben and Shaq - all of whom were already half way retired - to keep Lebron.

 

This, the way Riley behaved in that press conference made it clear he's beyond desperate and knows the team is crumbling. Was sad to see such an iconic GM realizing he's nearing retirement and has no control over this generation of players.

 

Guys, Perkins is being paid $9mill this year. You can't take this "rumor" seriously

 

CSB: I saw Perkins at Splashtown on Saturday.

 

If Miami is going after Perkins, it's certainly smelling like desperation.

Perkins isn't a terrible center (he can defend occasionally) but if he's trying to sell Perkins as an impact player he may be in for a rude awakening...
