Don't see how that helps Lakers in anyway, they aren't rebuilding anytime soon. They need a third team who is interested in Williams.

It would be interesting if you are going to steal another one from the Heat

    We already signed the Bear

Neither Love nor Gasol is a center. They are both pure power forwards. It seems like a weird fit to put them on the same team. But I guess Adelman doesn't give a crap about defense, no surprise there.

Gasol can play center just fine, who are the remaining big bruising Cs in the league? Bynum? The question is will the Lakers give up Gasol just for draft choices and Derrick Williams? I think not. We on the other hand, can provide the Lakeshow with enough complementary pieces to get D-Will.

Sounds like a buncha bull to me.... sportswriters needing something to write about and GMs floating selfserving possibilities to try and drive the prices up...

T-Wolves don't have the capspace to absorb Pau's salary they'll need to send more salary back.

They can package DWill with either Ridnour or Barea, Beasely, and Randolph. That would upgrade their PG and SF, F/C depth. The Lakers pretty much have a starting line up and nothing else.

It would be a waste to have to buy Kaman out. They should take whatever low-balling deal Morey is throwing at them.

Agreed. I have a hard time thinking the Hornets would choose-

    B. Buyout Kaman after the deadline and eat his contract for nothing

    over

    A. Take the Rockets offer of Flynn, Thabeet, and maybe Hill/TWill, & a 2nd round pick and also save 1.5 mm off the books on the year.

If Miami gets Kaman, Give them the title. It would be the final piece for them.

Why would the wolves trade for Pau when they already have Love and Pekovic -- one of the best front-lines in the NBA?

yeah, Pekovic is a real find. Funny that we've been looking for a center for so long and Minny just seems to pull one out of their ass.

Maybe Adelman really likes Pau & thinks he'll fit well. Pekovic or Darko could be part of a package.

Maybe they are not that high on Pekovic. He is only playing 23 ppg.

Either way, Pau would be a big upgrade over him.

I lineup of Gasol, Love, and Rubio would be nice.

Here's a 3 team trade with us, minny, and the lakers.
Rockets trade- Scola, Dragic, Bud, Morris, NY pick, minny 2nd rd pick
    Get- Derrick Williams, Peckovic, Ridnour

T-wolves trade- D-will, Beasley, Ridnour, Peckovic, Randolph
Get- Gasol, Morris, Bud, Dal 1st rd pick, LA 1st rd pick

Lakers trade- Pau, Dal 1st rd pick, 2012 LaL 1st rd pick (top-20 protected)
Get- Scola, Randolph, Dragic, Beasley, Ny Pick, minny 2nd rd pick

Not sure if it would work, but the minny wants Gasol that badly or La wants to get rid of that contract, it could work.

    Lowry/ Ridnour
    Martin/ Lee
    Williams/ Parsons
    Patterson/ Hill
    Dalembert/ Pekovic
