He isn't going anywhere. Sounds like they are just going to fire the "insider" who said Kobe ran off Shaq and then he will be good to go.

Also said if Jerry West goes back that would help a lot.

He said he cant blame me .. he understands and he feels the same way. He feels that he cant trust some ppl in the organization and we need to fix that.

Kobe sounds very down, constant sighing, honestly sounds like a bad acting job trying to make sure everyone gets his demeanor. Imagine somone sighing w/ exasperation after every sentence, literally. That was this interview.

Kobe says:
I still want to be traded.
I didn't drive Shaq out.

Kobe's agent (I guess) called Mitch for a trade, clearly Kobe didn't talk directly w/ him.

On AM570(the local LA station) he just said that he wants to stay and that this is his home. But really, I don't know what to believe anymore.

 

The "insider" who said Kobe ran off Shaq was Phil Jackson, who wrote it in his book in 2004. Is Kobe so stupid as to think we don't know this?

Kobe is an attention w****... he knows exactly what to say to get the spotlight on him.

Given the BORING NBA playoffs, its really not that hard.

 

According to Shaq it isn't true. He believes that Kobe wasn't involved in any way.

Also, the insider he's talking about is the one who released the story like last week or whatever about the Shaq situation. It's not Phil. Dan Patrick said on the air that he knows who the source is.

This sounds like a well-planned media campaign on some agenda. He makes an effort to get on many national radio talking about himself, and keeps a public archive of them?

I might be looking too much into this, but this doesn't sound spontaneous to me.

 

But thats why this is absurd. There is no need for Kobe to form some manhunt for the nonexistent leaking insider, or for Shaq to weigh in. This is not a whodunit. This is what is contained in the last chapter of Phil's book:

The "insider" is telling us what we already knew three years ago, from Phil himself. That's why this whole scenario is so ridiculous.

 

west just said he will never return to the lakers b/c kobe blasted the front office. west is a loyal guy and he's apparently pissed by this. kobe's screwed
