Yea...Im down with this too, what I hate is that we are playing these guy's heavy minutes and still losing and its pissing me off. When we did give the bench a run during our other..losing streak smh.....those guys couldtn score for crap, but I guess these growing pains are what we have to deal with sigh.
I agree with going to the twin towers attack. It would work because Harty knows how to party from the 3 pt. line.
we refuse to think we are tanking team by giving veterans extended minutes. but that may end up in injury so lets accept our faith, play normal rotation and pray we get top5. we aint going nowhere anyway this year
Just because you can hit a 3 doesn't mean you're a 4. Do you see Aaron Baynes or Brook Lopez out there playing the 4?
Seeing that Pelicans played a Twin Tower of Cousins and AD and are still not tier 1 teams. Safe to say, twin towers in the current league is just not going to work.
I have not been a big fan, but he is winning me over with his attitude of going apeshit to force us to recall him. Nene has been disappointing defensively and fitness-wise. If we're dumping Knight for mediocre expiring players and effectively raising the white flag on this season, I don't see why not let Hartenstein develop into a backup 5. Caboclo has been balling as well. Seems to be playing as a 4 and man the guy can erase penetration. If he could be competent enough to stay on the floor in the NBA, I can see him as a 4/5 blocking 3 shots per game easily.
Barring some dramatic changes. . . I expect HArty to be on the Playoff Squad CENTER: Capela - Nene - Harty . . .. . Need HArty and Nene to split about 18~24 minutes a game Rocket River
With Nene healthy, we just need him to give like 12 minutes to balance the work load on the front court. Hustlestein needs to keep tearing it up in the G League and maybe he'll be called up on back to backs to rest Nene.
The reason we have Nene over Hartenstein is for rebounds and paint patrol. I'd like Nene to do those two things over Harty.
