I'm committed to it, and I'd argue that episode 1 vs episode 1, this was better, but there's no way this season can top season 1.
did it already air?? i still need to finish the last season. i should probably start it over actually.
Yeah... but you realize that last season will have nothing at all to do with this season. Different actors, different characters, different setting. But, you should probably just finish it for completion sake... and obviously its the same creator and writers.
yeah i knew. ive watched half of the new one. and unlike the last 2 posters i think its pretty good so far.
Music is way too dramatic. "Colin Farrell picks up flyer from car windshield, cue dramatic music "dun dun dun" Feels like they're just forcing the elements of what made the 1st season great without establishing anything. Vince Vaughn trying to not play Vince Vaughn isn't helping either
the crime scene of the first episode was the draw from me. this episode didnt have that. i still liked it though. honestly i dont watch a lot of tv anymore so maybe that helps.
Exactly my thoughts. The ominous music worked well in season 1... here it seemed forced. I didn't hate the episode, but was underwhelmed, but that's kind of what I expected. It's going to be hard as hell to live up to season 1, and I'm not sure this was a great start.
Hmmm...that was not the premiere I was hoping for. Seemed all over the place, made little sense, and just had some flat out weird moments. However...the ending salvaged it for me and made me intrigued to see where it goes. Season 1 was instantly addictive from the first scene. This premiere was fairly disappointing, but I trust it will improve.
yes. the characters where all the same. Not sure I can watch a whole season of 3 depressed cops with drug/alcohol problems because of prior drama in their lives.
Good point. The lack of diversity in the characters is painfully noticeable, which is odd because the diversity and interaction between Rust and Marty last season was the main draw of the show.
