yep, Nate is too good for her. And, she's not even that hot. BTW, have you guys ever layed in bed with a girl w/o sleeping with her ? I loved Nate's response, though he was hallucinating big time during the dinner. I think Billy slipped something in the bong, as I never saw anyone else smoke it. ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? Just wondering if anyone here has Showtime and is willing to watch "Queer As Folk"? It's a great show too but it's way out there. Kinda like "Will & Grace" on crack. The only 2 name actors on it are Hal Sparks from "Talk Soup" and Sharon Gless from "Cagney & Lacey" but the cast is wonderful. Anyway, i was just wanted to know what you straight dudes thought of the show if you've seen it. ------------------
I've seen it a couple of times. I just didn't think it was a very good show, overall, but the gay element didn't really bother me. I just thought it wasn't a particularly good show. ------------------ Who's your buddy? Who's your pal? I am, aren't I?
Ok, I've heard of this show and never watched it before. So I watch it last night and what do I get to see? Some guy's penis and two gay guys talking about buttsex. Sorry, I'm not a homophobe, but I don't like seeing guy's dicks or gay people talking about sex. You shouldve warned me. Otherwise the show was somewhat interesting. ------------------
If anyone that hasnt seen this show and wants to watch, i strongly suggest u watch the first few episodes... they are a great way to get into it http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/ VERY NICE STUFF HERE ------------------ "The early bird may get the worm, but so does the bird that finished off the tequila bottle the night before"
New episode tonight, I can't wait! Anyone have predictions on how the next episode will turn out or how the season will end? It's too hard for me to predict myself, too many weird things going on. I'm glad there are other people out their that like this show like me. I tried to get my parents into this show, but it was a little too dark for their taste. They prefer raunchy taste and watch Sex in the City instead ------------------ "And i'm spent!"
I can't believe they lost their reconstructive guy! Who the hell is going to fix up their dead people??? ------------------ Who's your buddy? Who's your pal? I am, aren't I?
Let's check the intros.....if his name is still mentioned, then we will know he is still on the show. Dave actually does reconstruction also. ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? This deal isn't gonna make or break me Norm, so don't jerk me around." I think somehow they will get this guy back.... personally i was pissed when they didnt offer him part ownership and didnt even talk about it! ------------------ "The early bird may get the worm, but so does the bird that finished off the tequila bottle the night before"
that was an interesting episode tonight. i hope no one was scared off by all the homoeroticism. - i'm glad david dumped the kid. hope he and keith get back together soon. - nate and brenda's surveying was pretty funny. anyone else thinks she looks & sounds a lot like helen hunt? - claire and gabe is kinda interesting. wonder if she's going to get burned a 2nd time. - ruth's drug trip was pretty cool. thought it was funny that hiram has an electric car just like begley has in real life. all in all a pretty good episode. ------------------
When me and my dad watched the first few episodes it was so weird because that woman sounds and kinda looks like helen hunt.... i think its the nose........... oh yea i forgot, i missed tonights episode.... what are the times they re run it??? anyone know? ------------------ "The early bird may get the worm, but so does the bird that finished off the tequila bottle the night before" [This message has been edited by DrewP (edited July 30, 2001).]

I'm in denial, I've been hiding the fact that I've been watching and not telling everyone. My name is j***** errrrr, oh wait, this isn't my rehab. ------------------ The intelligent prediction from Moses Malone: "Foe, Foe, Foe".
I thought it was kind of a sad episode with the kid dying and the husband coming back to see the mom and telling her to go have fun again. It was bittersweet I guess. I'm glad David dumped slut boy too. The cop is a much cooler guy. And how nice is the sister for being so sweet to Gabe!??? That drug trip was hilarious!!! As for her, my money is on the Russian guy too! To me, the best scene was when Nate ripped that little boy's father in the back room. It seemed like he needed to say it and the guy needed to hear it. Does anyone else like the fact that they leave in all the really awkward human stuff? There was that scene when the sister (what the hell is her name again?) first heard about Gabe's brother and ran outside to talk to him and there was this long awkward silence. That just ruled. I guess I'm wierd. Also, what about that comment she made to the guy in school about his testicle being the size of a peanut! Awesome. If anyone watched Sex in the City, there seemed to be an HBO running testicle theme last night. On a side note, outlaw, you asked about the homoerotic scenes. You know something, a while back my wife and I were talking about the recent kd lang CD. It is all about the beginning of a relationship that happens over a summer. We both remarked to one another how we had no problems listening to her sing about this relationship and picturing another woman with her rather than a man. This may not sound like a big deal, but when you spend your life listening to music, the automatic assumption is "girl sings about guy and guy sings about girl." To just automatically picutre her holding hands with or having dinner with another woman was really kinda odd. And, NO, you perverts, there isn't any sex on the CD, so I wasn't just having porno lesbian fantasies. I had to throw that in. Sorry for the aside. ------------------ Who's your buddy? Who's your pal? I am, aren't I?
i thought it was good episode all in all. It was unusual that the death at the beginning was so serious. Most of the time someone dies in some sort of weird or comical way, not by shooting themselves. Another thing i have noticed about this show is that the music is more of a playful music then a deep or even disturbing music like youd think it would have....I think people warm up to the show because even the start of the show has more inviting playful music.... ------------------ "If somebody has a bad heart, they can plug this jack in at night as they go to bed and it will monitor their heart throughout the night.
