Been waiting for this for a long time. I was thinking about it this weekend while watching the Band Of Brothers marathon on History for the 1000th time. If it's 1/2 as good as BoB, it will still be an epic miniseries.
It doesn't start playing on TV till next year. So it's going to be quite a while till it's released on disc.
i was looking on the hbo webiste didnt realize it wasnt scheduled until next year thanks for the heads up
looks awesome! thanks for posting the trailer, it might not stay up for long, we will see. March 2010 is the release date for HBO
DANG 2010!!!!!!!! i was looking forward to seeing this later this year. most of the HBO mini-series have been great john adams was great, generation kill wasnt on BoB level (but then again what is?) but it was still entertaining for me
EPIC... sorry, just wanted to say epic. I loved John Adams. Haven't seen Band of Brothers yet as the wife is anti-war stuff typically, but she liked John Adams, too, so maybe I can convince her. The trailer for this looks great.
I just started Watching BOB about a month or so ago and it was amazing. One of my all-time favorite shows/miniseries. Absolutely EPIC
Just watched BoB on the History Channel this weekend for the 4th time. NEVER get tired of watching that. About as close to flawless movie-making as you can possibly get. I honestly can’t think of a single flaw in the entire mini-series. Just pure perfection from start to finish. Hell, even Ross from Friends put on an amazing performance. First time I saw it, I had to check IMDb to make sure it was really him. Pacific looks pretty bad ass too. The trailer has sort of a Thin Red Line feel to it, but I’m sure it will have all the reality that made BoB so epic.
DeepDiscountDVD has the entire John Adams miniseries on Blu-ray for 46.39 shipped. http://www.deepdiscount.com/John-Ad...VproductId65481655VVcatId462363VVviewprod.htm Thinking about getting it myself, especially since I have a 10 dollars off coupon.
