[HBO] Eastbound & Down

I thought it was ok.

I like the premise, but I'm not really liking Danny McBride right now.

Hopefully Will Ferrell's character will spice things up a bit.

 

I loved it. I think it has a lot of potential.

 

Yeah I thought it was really fun as well.

I'm not sure if it was intended or not, but it seems his character is sort of based off of John Rocker. The fact that he started off in Atlanta with the 100 mph fastball and then made the racial comments about New York and San Francisco. Maybe I'm looking to far into it.

 

loved it and laughed my ass off until the end. great start.

yeah, that was hilarious.

i liked eb&d especially for a first episode. the scene where he was walking inot the school at the end was awesome.

 

It was only a pilot, and I thought it was good for a pilot. I will certainly keep watching, there were enough laughs to keep it going.

 

the sixth grader being raped line had me in tears. i do hope they don't let the principal continue to be some star-struck fan.

 

I thought it was decent enough to watch another episode or two, but if it stays at the level of last night's episode I won't watch it for long...

Possibly the best show ever made. I'm excited.


I got seasons 1 and 2 for Christmas from my wife.:grin:

 

Damn a bunch of good shows starting back up in feb. game of thrones, east bound, walking dead. What else?

 

Can't wait, love McBride in this show.

 

I like shows like Sunny, The League, The Office, Entourage... never liked Eastbound & Down. McBride's humor seems juvenile.
