What is especially embarrassing about Broussard's assertion that Josh Smith may go to Brooklyn is that Brooklyn has absolutely nothing that Atlanta would be interested in. I'm not sure if Brooklyn has much of anything that anybody is going to be especially interested in. They have several grossly overpaid players and the rest of their roster is comprised of junk.

    Why though?

If he wants you and you want him, what does the extra 25 games in 2013 do?

Keep your rookies and sign in the offseason.

Do not want. Smith is a tease. Incredibly talented guy that never puts it all together.

They said Harden wasnt worth and look at him now. I think he's worth it can Get you points in the paint, defensive end, and than Crash Boards. Better than going for Dwight Howard

Ok, let's say that White has a couple good d-league games before the trade deadline.

    Will the Hawks accept?

    White
    Greg Smith
    Patterson
    Morris

Can the Hawks get a better trade? Jones would become backup PF. Aldrich backup C and D-Mo is the 5th big man.

I am including Greg Smith since I feel he has more value than Aldrich and would have to be included for the Hawks to agree to trade Josh Smith.

I wouldn't give up DMo or TJones for Smith. Not for a rental.

God forget Smith....look how good Lemarcus is...LA would look good in Rockets red...Smith i worry may have had too many miles...and might be shell of his past...similar to a TMAC...and will start breaking down soon...The Rockets need to stand pat and wait for other pieces to become available...

KLove, and Lemarcus Aldridge are the two examples of the type of player we really need...

Let's just get this out of the way. Atlanta is not going to take trash for Smith. There will be plenty of teams lining up for Smith and are willing to give value. If Smith were to come here, Parson most certainly will be in the trade.
