The giants just aren’t set up for this stuff. Lesson learned if you are a small business owner: have at least some of your business through a regional bank that is part of the SBA program. Everyone I know that had that situation got their loans
A lot of poorly run cash businesses will have to go under, and quite frankly, that is a good thing for capitalism. Consolidation has been needed in an economy that has been too kind. So yeah, they'll get loans, but many won't make it past 2020. I would tell them to start preparing.
Was finally able to input my direct deposit info on Friday. No updates since but I'm hoping it will be sometime this week. Ironically, I'll be using a portion of it to pay my taxes. STIMULATION!
Finally got my stimulus money. Surprised and disappointed to find it was a debit card and not a paper check. Probably safer that way. But ach transfers are limited to $2k per month, so I can't just move all the cash out immediately. Also it didn't have Trump's signature! I am disappoint. Then again the verification code happens to be the mark of the beast, so maybe he is there in spirit.
Is anyone still waiting on their tax refund (not stimulus)? I filed back in early March and I'm still waiting. I tried the 'where's my refund' website and it's saying it doesn't recognize my info. It says that every year, for what it's worth. Is this because of The Coronas? Or am I being audited??
If you were being audited, you should still see a "In Progress" status when you check your refund in the IRS website. I'm still waiting for my refund as I was being audited and found out my social security number was wrong on my W-2 form. Also they should've have sent you a letter informing you of the delay. I would give IRS a call.
No stimulus money yet. For the 2nd one anyway. Filed last year via direct deposit. Show me the money Orange Man.
Well, they've already started doing direct deposit ones. The people that need checks mailed out or whatever are probably the ones that will take the longest. H&R Block has this page with a FAQ and it says payments will be sent by the end of January : https://www.hrblock.com/coronavirus-tax-impact/calculator
I'm hoping to get mine when I file taxes for the year. My 2019 was better than 2020, so income has gone down. Think I've read it works like that anyway (if you're 2019 income was too high, but your 2020 isn't, you'd get a credit/rebate on your 2020 taxes?)
