The Rockets knew there was something there. Whiteside played for the Vipers. But you can't win em' all. What I wouldn't do to have Whiteside instead of Dorsey right now though.
Whiteside had to be a supreme chump for so many teams to just not want to take a chance for so long. With his athleticism and length there is no way a team wouldn't take a chance if something wasn't wrong with his attitude. Every time he is on national television there is always a story of how much of a jack ass he was. Battier was on TV saying he got tired during a work out and just left the facility. Ernie on NBATV was saying how he was told straight up that Whiteside was a jack ass.
Damn can't believe we had him on the Vipers and let him go! **** we better not let Capella go like that!
Serious question Does Whiteside have more post up moves and a better range than Dwight? I kinda think he does.
Obviously he does. Sadly As of right now Whiteside > Dwight, no question at all. Whiteside has been beasting on both ends of the court. Offensively and has been elite defensively.
Dwight is injured, thats like saying im a better player than Paul George moments after he snapped his leg in two
We're talking about healthy Dwight. Hassan looks better on both ends. Beast on defense and showing a good jumper and really solid post-moves.
I'd say so, judging by Hassan's current performance. Remember Dwight is not as athletic as he used to be in Orlando. And he never had a post-gae and jumper like this. Dwight's best blocking season was 2.9 in 35.7 mpg. Hassan is currently at 4.7 blocks/36min. And a ridiculous 64.3 fg%
It's clear after Royce "White" & "White"side ,Moray can't find luck with any name contain white, one reason IMO why he picked Tarik "Black"last summer. sadly, he might never visit the "White House ever with a champion team
Yes. I think they would be about the same without him. If you gave Anthony Randolph 25-30 minutes in an NBA game he would stuff the stat sheet too. It doesn't mean that what he does is conducive to winning basketball. If Hassan Whiteside is as good as folks are claiming, shouldn't a team with Bosh/Wade/Deng/Spoelstra be AT LEAST .600 in the East? When Whiteside plays over 15 minutes, the Miami Heat are 6-9... Nice physical frame, but I am not convinced that he can start for a winning team. He has the brain of a little child. Not a grown man mentally, not even close.
