Tell me... how do you "drag on" knee swelling?

You try too hard to get back in the game by working out too much.

He would be working out with trainers telling him what to do. He isn't just doing his own thing.

I was just being sarcastic trying to match the people that know he was faking. That said, trainers need feedback from a player during rehab. Players can be stupid sometimes about not being honest about levels of pain. There was an article that mentioned the Rockets were dialing back the rehab efforts in January, but I don't know if that was Asik overworking or just not responding well to the workouts planned.

Asik has the most powerful agent in Arn Tellem,if he plays solid I think he can help Morey finding a good deal.

I have a great idea. Lets start Asik to showcase him and show teams what he can really still do with starters minutes and opportunity. Bring Dwight off the bench to backup the 4 and 5. Better yet, lets just give the big fella a few games off to rest.

I'm joking. This will NEVER happen, but I honestly wouldn't be too mad if it did if we weren't fighting for playoff seeding right now.

Simple. Show Feigen your knee in early December just to prove it's a real injury and then every time he asks about it say it's feeling better, just not quite there yet, or some such BS.

It's been a LONG while since we've seen that knee.

Just for me to understand..are you implying he is fooling the whole media AND organisation about the injury or only the media?

Would be a little bit difficult to fool the staff/doctors on the team I'd recon.

So if he and the staff are doing it together, what's there left to say if both parties want the same..if he's not fooling and the injury is real, then there is no case.

I believe the injury has been exaggerated, and the reports to be organizationally planted, but that is just my view based upon years of such things.

Er, no, he obviously can't fool the doctors and staff. But it's quite easy to fool Feigen and many of us, apparently. The organization obviously has no interest in exposing him as a faker - they'd gain nothing from that, and have little choice but to go along. They want to trade him, and he loses more value by being known as a crybaby bullshi++er than someone with a relatively minor injury that's "almost" healed. They have to go along with the story.

But consider this. With a healthy *and contributing* Asik over the past couple of months there are several close games that very likely would have gone our way - we'd be top 4 seed now. Do you really think that the organization would've just sat on their thumbs and essentially said"we don;t know what's going on with this mysterious injury, we'll just hope he comes back soon"? Hell no, they'd have sent him to specialist after specialist until they definitively found out what was wrong and treated it to get him back on the court as fast as possible.

Anyone who still buys this injury... I have a bridge to sell you.

I thought he was playing against the Bucks. So is he or isn't he? I read back several pages, but I still can't find the answer.

I'll be really surprised if he'll be traded . I love Asik , but personally , If I am another team's GM , I would'nt take him . ( But I would take him in past summer , as I always say ) I'm turkish , I'm honest and I'm sorry . His value and credibility is very low right now .

So what you are saying is that Omer Asik doesn't want to play for the Rockets and wants to sit out instead.

So Omer Asik decides to "fool" the Rockets by saying he has a knee injury. So the doctors look at it, and because he can't fool the doctors, the doctors see he is obviously fine.

But in order to keep his trade value from declining because he's pouting and refuses to play, the Rockets PR team decide to go along with his story and say he is injured even though they know he isn't... even though an injury does decrease his trade value anyway.

Omer Asik then shows Fiegen his knee and "fools" Fiegen into thinking it's actually swollen to shut up the people who are trying to spoil his plan.

Then, all of a sudden, Omer Asik decides he wants to play again and says his knee is almost 100%, and he's going to play against the Bucks because he wants to show teams that he's fine so he can be traded, even though he's sat out two months and will probably not play at the same level before the trade deadline.

^^^ So that's what you think happened?
