I don't give a damn, you don't ever compare a championship season to a non championship season. Clutch City is holy, and you straight up were talking heresy
thats why someone like harden is seen as stats padder until.winning something and hakeem is a winner the team has to win, its not single tennis, roger federer
Why the **** does it matter? When comparing eras it is absolutely stupid to use advanced stats as your sole talking point, you saying "From an advanced stats perspective" was clearly meant to imply that certain "evidence" you have shows Harden playing at an extremely high level this year--and higher than Hakeem to bolster your point. Too often we have people citing advanced stats with complete a disregard for context.
You are not a Rockets fan. You are worse than a Lin fan. Don't ever insult Hakeem's MVP season, there are some of us old enough to witness it. Return your Rockets gear, if you have any, to Academy right now.
Exactly...people have gotten so stupid in an attempt to actually try and do something they perceive as being the new wave and the truth, that they disregard reality.
actually those are called awards, not advanced stat. secondly, I was only talking about the regular season, pretty sure Final's MVP in not included in that. Hakeem was much better player in the playoffs than the regular season; his regular season achievement is great, but not exceptionally good.
If we are going to be objective about it, David Robinson was a better player than Hakeem during the regular season. Of course, Hakeem kicked his ass in the playoffs, but it's not like Hakeem's regular season numbers are out-worldly and on another level.
He dominated the regular season you stupid piece of rat dropping that's how he won the MVP and the Defensive Player of the year
that's good, so what? I was only referring to Hakeem's advanced stat, not his awards or accomplishment.
If David Robinson had a better season in 1993-94, he would have won the MVP. Man you don't really know anything do you?
are you dyslexic? I was talking about career-wise. BTW, I still think Hakeem was a better player overall, because you gotta show up in the playoffs if you want to be a true legend. But if we base our judgement strictly on the regular season performance, then yeah saying D-Rob was better is not a stretch.
