he didn't DOMINATE with playmaking and drives

harden is the best at playmaking and drives.. quick and agile

does bird have the quick first step, change of direction and speed, and stopping power of Harden?rden

harden's quick first step, change of direction and speed, and stopping power is elite - those are all physical/athletic traits live with it

    lol LOF

He doesn't move his feet fast enough and does not know how to use his wide frame properly.

He needs to lock the defender with his arm (not push off) and extend his off arm so that the passer can lob the ball over defender, just like he would feed the post.

Instead he panics and pushes the defender or just stays stationary.

These are simple basic stuff that coaches should be going over during practice.

It is as much on the coaches as it is on the players.

That is the other thing that bothers me is . . ..
If Harden SEALS his man . . . .The Refs allow his many to play through him to get the 'steal'
I have seen inbounds plays where Harden has his man sealed
then an INCREDIBLE amount of contact is allowed to disrupt the inbounds pass

Luc could've also not gotten the ball snatched from him like a toddler.

It’s interesting how easily some of you turn all blame to the the coaches or ryno in all situations

If you’re not happy the team you’re rooting for has the coach of the year then at least accept it.

The final in bounds last night for the pelicans featured a big push off that wasn’t called. Most players do that push off without a call.

Harden is being targeted and we need to accept that and adjust accordingly

The technique to free yourself it's teached at 9 years old. In fact I coach kids of that age and we often train that because they naturally try to recieve the ball going next to it instead of keeping their position and getting free of their defenders with technique and change of rythms.

Chris Paul could teach him the technique (lol), but more than half of it it is about putting interest and effort on the play, those are Harden issues.

Anyway, the blame on that play is 80% on Mbah a Moute, you can't be that SOFT at that moment.

There are 7 different reason why we lost
    but
the so call Rocket Fans will attempt to fixate on something Harden did.

    the Four Point Play that wasn't . . . . . . absolutely pissed me off
how many points were taken off the board because of the NBA's vendetta against the Rockets and Harden

It's almost as if you can be annoyed at the refs and call out Harden for this pattern of flat-footedness that has cost us a couple crucial possessions down the stretch of games. You can dismiss Harden's mental lapses all you want by throwing out these what about-isms, but this seems like such a simple fix and I'm wondering why we keep seeing it in the most important stretches of games.

If Harden moved his ass in the Boston game, we wouldn't be talking about the Smart/Brothers debacle. If he freed himself up last night we could have won the game too. No excuse.

Lol 55 wins last year had to do more with the mvp. Pops would have won us at least 55 and farther in the playoffs.

you gotta admit last year mda was too dependent with harden and this year with both cp3 n harden

hes not on the same level as pops n kerr

Lucs play was lucs fault. There should be a strategy for Late game inbounds situations and practiced.

Lol ryno with zero points -20 this game, garbage & worst bpm for the last 23 games and luc with the turnover during late game inbounds after the boston debacle you would think mda would have addressed this

Yet this is loss is hardens fault coz luc picked up his dribble and got his ice cream stolen like a toddler

Is it hardens fault also that we were down 20 and we had to play catch up more than half of the game?

If any thing its hardens fault for shooting 1 of 9 from the three thats on him. And who ever let him hoist those shots repeatedly while not calling any alternative looks and plays.

The Bottomline is Cp3 should be running the show late in games when he and james are on the floor. Harden needs to get into off ball scoring mode when he sees Cp3 check in. Not saying James should abandon his playmaking duties. I just think he should be the secondary playmaker when Chris is playing with him. Forcing James the ball late in games makes no sense, especially when we have the best point guard on the roster.
