I couldn't disagree more. Matt Bullard also disagreed. Harden was trying to get everyone involved early on, especially. But they couldn't make their shots. Harden was red hot and any chance we had of winning was because of Harden's shooting.

Harden did exactly what the star of the team should do. Try and get everyone on the team involved and take his shots in the rhythm of the game. Once those other players show they can't make their shots and even more get gun shy because of their poor shooting and often won't take the shots (which was the case against the Spurs) then Harden should step up (because that's what a star and franchise player does.) and take the majority of the shots.

Harden played a great game last night. I especially liked the way Harden was trying to get everyone the ball, and passing it to his teammates.

This is true. That's why okc and the spurs top 2 players avg the most attempts of the team. The issue with last night is that we played the Spurs. Everyone was cold with the exception of Harden. I'm sure he could have had more assists than the 5 that he had but you only get assists when teammates make their shots.

Definitely not out of selfishness, since Harden was doing everything in his power to get his teammates involved (especially at the beginning of the game).

But that's just it. Last night, his teammates were not capable AND because they weren't taking the hots they lost confidence in their shot thus passing up the open look.

I hope he doesn't pass the ball ever again. It's looking, like he's going off for 50 tonight.

If he's the only one who's able to score, then give him the damn ball. Our team defense is falling apart. The other players should worry about defending and rebounding and taking good shots in rhythm.

We're always going to look terrible against the league-leading teams. We're just babies--baby Rockets.

This is another stupid knee jerk thread like always. I don't want to be mean but I have to be honest. Did you notice the game against the Spurs, nobody could hit any shots even when they were wide open.

Other than Harden, the Rockets shot terribly. During that game, Parsons were off, Patterson became extra soft again, Lin is his usual self, and Asik is Asik. So before you start making knee jerk threads like this, make sure you actually watch the entire game and not a few possession.

Stupid LOF's, Harden had 9 assists tonight. Not to mention 40 points, quit hating on Harden because Lin sucks ass.
