There's no way he's renewing his contract here.

This is about to be a colossal ****show.

He should take Mauri and Les with him

    Clean house.

Rockets are crap top to bottom. Charles Barkley is right. This is some hot mess.

harden is gonna go join durant and Westbrook, when this train wreck ends, if he cares about winning. But if all he cares about is money he will stay here and continue stink it up.

That's a good thing, right? 80% of this website despises him so 2017 can't get here soon enough!

Who knows. Maybe it's Harden who wants D'Antoni.

Harden was on the Olympic team with Mike D'Antoni. If he had a problem with the guy they would not hire him.

Care about money? He already has a trillion dollar shoe contract. He will get a max contract no matter what he does and where he goes. So yeah

I agree. I don't think it has anything to do with the D'Antoni hire though. To be honest, I've had a sinking feeling for a while now that this was inevitable. The Rockets are in a rebuilding phase whether they wanna admit it or not. They're not gonna be good next year once every quality free agent turns them down. And with no first rounder and limited talent on the roster, they'll at best be .500 like last season.

So what do you think they're gonna do next summer coming off another season of 40-something odd wins(or possibly less) and a likely lottery pick? You think they're gonna hang onto Harden and hope 2017-18 magically turns itself around? Hell no. They'll deal him while they have some leverage and can demand something in return and then the real rebuilding begins.
