    Historic recession
    Political upheaval and impeachment
    Massive economic corruption
    Zika
    Now a superbug found
Populace unrest on edge for footing bill for World Cup and now Olympics
Crime due to huge economic inequality
    It's really bad right now

So it was announced that World Health Org said not to have sex while in Rio, and no sex for 4 weeks after coming home.... And then Harden withdraws. Shocker

I've never really been a fan of our players in the Olympics anyway.

This. Unless your livelihood depends on your Olympics performance, I would also forgo this year's Olympics. The risk versus benefit simply doesn't justify it.

For thousands of other athletes, the Olympics is the biggest stage. For basketball, it's not. Their salary/prize money also pales in comparison to an NBA contract. The risk/reward is not there.

Do other fans rag on their best player this much?

    Serious question.

Guy put up historic numbers in a bad year?

Some of you act like kobe/Wade/Hakeem didn't have a lot of 40ish win seasons that resulted in a 1st round exit.

I hope he comes back better than ever and we win big just for the boards sake. This place is the worst I have ever seen it in my almost 15 years.

Meh. Would've liked to see him play, but not mad as long as he stays in shape. $$ saved on exhibition game tix.
