Harden was sick. He just wouldn't say it.

Guys, Harden chokes in critical moments because of the POLLEN, errrrr a CONCUSSION, errrrrr thy DEPTH PERCEPTION AT THE "TOYCEN"TER! Ryno colorblindness has spread to Beard?

    :p

JK fellas. I am predicting 30-10-5 Harden from here on out, and some serious Steph skeetage.

    Yeah I’m not buying it.

Unless he has a mental condition. Which is very possible. He could suffer from anxiety attacks when the pressure is too high.

This is of course another narrative..... he isn't the most hated guy out there, he just ain't popular like others.....that is the only truth but we cannot change that.

Maybe salty Utah or Mav fans....really hate him with a passion. Most others give him a pass when he is playing bad.

Some of his homers want others to love him so bad - just play his hearts out, that all.

If he had left for the biggest market, maybe that would have made him at least a tad more popular, who knows?

All week long my youngest daughter has been waking up with her eyes swollen shut bc of allergies. I know harden is a pro athlete but allergies are really bad right now. Can't even imagine for someone who also has asthma.

Other thing is concussion...not sure why nobody in the media has brought it up or questioned it. That was a ridiculous fall. I have hit the ground the same way and it knocked me completely out...granted it was on a concrete court, but still.

    Let's hope for the former

everything is just a narrative...there isn't an objective reality 'outthere'

who in your opinion is the most hated guy?

Well, Ryan Anderson is the most controversial teammate on this board......

Russ WB is hated here like no other.

Steph Curry, Durant, Lebron, some of the other stars or superstars that are not Houstonian.

Of course other team's fans will hate Harden too.

The media does not like Harden, but the crowd cannot control that. The media has a sway over gullible fair weather fans but not bball savvy ones.

Just a random idea who is hated. Baby boomer generation dislike Harden more than Gen Xers or Millenials.

Cannot believe the number of jerkoffs who dismiss the idea that something was ailing Harden last game, and maybe even the game before. No wonder so many non-Rocket NBA fans hate him. He has more doubters here.

I mean, everyone saw him play? Saw him moving in slow motion practically? What, was he drunk? Didn't care? Left his A game at home? All of the above? Damn.

He is the 'man' here, if he leads the Rockets to the Finals by himself, they will eventually shut up........but if he does not, then......all hell will break loose.

This is the normal whoever is the superstar has the most responsibility for overall success - narrative.

He is paid that kind of money.

Sickness does not matter in this case because that is the worst timing to have an illness.

You prepare all season long to have multiple ailments or gas out in the WCF?

It's not the first time Harden did not bring his best in the CF or the Finals so all eyes are on him to redeem himself.

Our only chance to beat the Worriers is when Durant get a piece of the Kardashians.

Even if it were true, could you blame Harden? He has carried the hopes of an entire city on his shoulders for a number of years now, and done a superb job at it. Let's not forget the Rockets have been in the playoffs every year since his arrival 6 years ago. Before that? Threadmill of mediocrity was the rule.

Harden needed superstar help and he finally got it in CP3. In any other era, that would have been enough for one or two championships, but fighting against arguably the best NBA team ever assembled, it will be a tall order.

Here is hoping for a Parade on Main Street. Otherwise, I will still be proud of this 65-win Rockets team and James Harden.

So right. Harden should’ve scheduled his illness after the playoffs.
