Harden trade was bad (for Thunder), but how about?

LOL yeah WB 8 wins less, 3 seeds lower, statchasing uncontested rebounds, playing with Allstardipo is the real MVP last year

and he has no help this year right? LOL

stop hating.. we didn't get farther last year not because of harden.. that's the farthest that team could have gotten..

This. Morey probably would have taken Westbrook for the same package. History would have been totally different.

Yeah tbh I think Harden and Durant would have gone down as new age Jordan and Pippen. The Heat would have been their new Pistons, once they got too old Harden and Durant would have dominated the league.
    Adams
    Ibaka
    Durant
    Thabo Safalosha
    Harden

^Really thankful we got Harden lol

    Durant makes 15-21 FG 4-7 3PT 7-8FT look pedestrian

Russ makes 6-24 FG 2-8 3PT 9-12 FT look sexy

Yeah, especially when he joins arguably the GOAT team after they win 73 games, and then shoots out undercover tweets throwing his team and coaches under the bus like the cupcake he is.

Keep him. I'm not saying Russ is better, but I'll ride and die with WB every single day, rather than have that weak ass dude on my fictional squad.

Let's make an all cupcake squad!

    1. Derek Fisher (Nuff said...)
    2. Klay Thompson ("Man's Game")
    3. Tracy McGrady ("Lakers in 7", "If I had Shaq", "It's on me")
    4. Kevin Durant ("The Hardest Road")
    5. Dwight Howard ("Post Touches")

Honorable mention to Snottie Quitten. Never forget.

That squad in their prime would win 2-3 championships. You'd have KD scoring 35 per game like his MVP season, TMac as the secondary ball-handler, Klay Thompson bombing threes all game. Nobody could guard that lineup 2-4, its too damn big. Dwight Howard would get every rebound and average 3 blocks per game, and if the game is close and late, I can rely on Derek Fisher to bail the team out with some bullshit last second shot.

AND Pippen off the bench? I'm liking my all no-heart b**** squad!

I'll take them any day against the all-heart no efficiency squad of:

    Allen Iverson
    Russell Westbrook
    Kobe Bryant
    Carmelo Anthony
    Chuck Hayes

In reality, your team would first break down because Dwight would demand postups, and then immediately quit via TNT If he is not receiving them. He would also refuse to run pick and rolls with McGrady. Boom, destroyed.

After that, Kevin Durant would bandwagon hop after getting eliminated in the first round because McGrady threw everyone under the bus, and then Klay would cry and run back to his corner like the Beta-b**** he is. BOOM, exposed.

The next year, Snottie would move into the starting lineup, but then refuse to enter a game because the last play was drawn up for Stacy, who pouted his way into the last shot, after taking 15 pullup 18 footers to let the other team back into the game. Quit, quit, quit.

Meanwhile, Chuck Hayes effectively forces Dwight Hoe to shoot 0-36, and Dwight successfully takes down another franchise, McGrady again fails to get past the first round, Quitten quits, Derek Fisher forces a trade to LA for "medical reasons", and Durant asks to join my team, but we turn him away because he is such a fat p***y.

Exactly. I'll take the heart that Clutch City is known for. Stacy/Dwight era fans will take the b****es, because they don't know any better.

You take the team with Tracy, I'll take the team with Chuck Hayes. **** yeah... I'm down with that.

Yep. Westbrick is fools gold. Yes, he has freakish athleticism and is tough to guard but his game won't translate long like Monta Ellis. I remember when talking heads would always bash him for being a chucker when it was clear that Durant was the superior player. Funny how their narrative is completely different now. Brick is like a bodybuilder (all looks) and KD and Harden are like power-lifters (legit strength)

WB in younger years was pretty good. Even without the stat stuffing.

It is a little ridiculous to suggest Carmelo ever had heart.

Russ has Iverson / Rudy Gay disease.

Aesthetically pleasing game mechanics mask the fact that he just is not all that good.

Yes you can win league MVP (Iverson and Russ) without being all that good.

    I see you've not changed.....

Yeah, we have to look at the initial reaction from the Dipo trade.

Most thought that OKC got PG for nothing or that OKC was lucky to get rid of their contracts.

In the end, this was the rare trade where both teams got what they wanted.

Indiana has got at the very least a b-level superstar and if they can convince a Cousins or other superstar to join them they will really have something.

and OKC got rid of a player that was never going to work out with Westbrook. Even if PG leaves them, they will have still got rid of that contract at the very least. It was clear that Dipo's game was never going to work with Westbrook's.
