Huge Newcastle United fan... watched him grow up from a 17 year old who first joined the club to the current Dutch international goalie. Also didn't hurt that I played the games football manager 07 to 15 and developed him into a star goalie each season :p

What I saw in this replay was Fourniers knee bumping into Harden's quadriceps muscle from behind. Not the knee. It is a bruise, it hurts, but nothing to worry about, and nothing to do with knee.

Rockets players did not seem overly concerned, offering an indication of Harden’s reaction.

He said it’s not really that serious,” Rockets guard Ty Lawson said.

Which playoffs will we be attending if Harden only plays the last two months? There's no consolation bracket in the NBA.

The time to start turning him into a cyborg with metal joints and a beard made out of plasma is NOW, not 2 months before the season ends.

Lawson, Howard and Ariza can get you into the playoffs along with our insane depth

West is very top heavy with 5 teams and then Rockets even without harden should make the playoffs.

Injuries will happen now and in the couse of a long arse season. You just pray that these are minor.

This is where our very deep bench extending likely to the 11th guy will show its worth.

I am not really worried about Harden. He has proven that he is far more durable and tough than most NBA players. Case in point are the multiple sprained ankles he has had for the past 3 years as a Rocket. Harden shook it off like it was a mosquito bite or something.

At any rate, shelve him for the rest of preseason and limit his minured when season starts. Guys like Thornton. Terry and even KJ showed that they are deserving of some minutes.

there are not more injuries now than then, it is just the media pay more attention when a star gets injured than another player on the team

It's not overreacting wanting to know if your star is legitimately hurt or not.

While I respect how the organization handles injuries by not letting them get out, it's also a concern. None of us knew the seriousness of T. Jones injury or that D'Mo would be shut down either. I just want to know one way or the other.

Do I think Hardens injury is serious? I'd lean toward no. Still...
