    The same guys who pulled me over during the '60's for having long hair and a KFMK sticker on my rear bumper? Those "Finest?" I guess those guys are long gone. Anyway, the two cops handled it very well, in my opinion. :cool:

    Harden has every right to be upset, he's not the worst flopper in the entire league, he's the best flopper.

    :eek::eek:

    For every action, there is a reaction.

    If you can't take it, don't dish it simple as that. Just because Harden's on TV and gets all this publicity doesn't mean he isn't human.

    Would have been funnier if the phone had "flopped" out of his hand. ;):D

    If that bothers you, you should see what Clutch does opposing fans in the audience. ;)

    Maybe Tillman needs to take a page out of Les' handbook on how to protect players from obnoxious fans...Les hired a Houston police detail to escort Charles Barkley on and off the court as well when Charles was out and about in visiting cities. I think Harden needs the same protection in Salt Lake City. Then maybe the NBA and especially Salt Lake City will realize there is a problem with some fans being out of control. Fans should never be close enough to a player where the player can slap a phone out of their hand while being harassed.

    I’m hella petty. If I was an NBA player, I would’ve been nice, stopped and talked to the guy and asked him his name.

    Then I would’ve torched the Jazz and after beating them, I would’ve gone up to the podium and told Jazz nation that it’s that dude fault for talking trash

    harden should never initiate contact with a fan unless it's self defense. He has to control his emotions better.

    That fan should have been kicked out at half-time. There should be rules about not getting to close to a player's space. Not getting in the face of a player and not sticking cell phone within a few feet. Players should be afforded a degree of personal space - it's a simple respect thing. In fact, everyone should be afforded basic personal space.

    Say what you want about him being a flopper, but if you get close enough for a player to take a swipe at your cell phone, you as a fan have already crossed the line

    That’s battery. There was a case I remember in law school where someone slapped a tray out of someone’s hands and it was established that battery includes contact to an object that one is holding.

    Anyone think this incident could have affected James' mindset in game 2? I mean, lets be honest, that was some very minor heckling. It was such an in the moment kind of thing. Guy said his **** right as James was in arms reach and maybe James just reacted without really thinking it through. Maybe as the Rockets were warming up it kinda sunk in. Like, 'dam, why'd i do that? I hear worse every game. He got that on video now. Why'd i risk suspension for that fool.' Then boom his minds off to the races.

    I know, chances are slim to none that any of that happened. But being an NBA superstar requires rare mental fortitude and it is not often that we see that boy James get flustered by off-court distractions, especially by some fool yelling very minor insults.

    Or maybeeee im just looking for absolutely any excuse for that game 2 performance
