Lost respect for Kevin Durant has a competitor, he bailed this will haunt him...any championships he wins will ne tainted.
Adrian WojnarowskiVerified account @WojVerticalNBA Process w/ Durant and Golden State players has been ongoing for months. They sold him on winning multiple titles together, easing Curry load MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP! Now Curry can sit out the entire 2nd half!
Two years ago -runner up; Last year -he got one from FatShaQ; Next season -we will sea; Future look brighter than ever for young fella.
Barkley definitely cared and gave good effort in his MVP season with the Suns. Don't confuse late-career Barkley with prime-Barkley. He was dominant.
What a coward KD is. I lost al respect for him as a player today. Sorry for your loss OKC. As for the next MVP, it will be determined by California based ESPN and Atlanta base TNT...so the next MVP will be an east coast or west coast player. Middle America team's players don't have a chance...and that includes Lebron, Westbrook, Harden, Aldridge or Davis to name a few. No matter how well they play, the only votes they will receive will be from local sport writers/media. Can't win without national votes too. JMO
I don't understand how so many of you are saying this If the Warriors win 75+ games next season, you really think they will give the MVP to a player that's not even within 10 wins of them
I thought the excuse was that he sprained his ankle and gained 30 pounds ? Or was it that he carries the offense and doesn't have energy on defense? Now it's that the bench isn't good.
If Harden can carry a team featuring Dmo, Ariza and Beverley playing heavy minutes to say...54+ wins and a top three seed in the west I think that should lock up the MVP. Wait...nevermind.
