Harden is a freak. He heals quicker than the best of them. How many times have we seen him roll his ankle fall down clutching it in pain. Pop up walk it off in a timeout and then be right back on the court like nothing happened. The Same type of ankle roll that kept curry out a month. How many times have we seen him bump his knees and not miss a game. The same type of bump that kept cp3 out 15 games. Harden is freak like Lebron these dudes are not human and have these big bulky bodies that allow them to take punishment. They both have a lot of muscle which is good it protects there ligaments when put in compromising situations. If the drs clear him and he feels good to go we got to trust him. He’s been right in the past so no reason to doubt him now. And Keith Jones get to much flack he’s kept Ryno and EG pretty fresh. I think our training staff keeps these players well prepared.
I would rather him stay out for another week to heal than rush back and risk another injury. We are not going to catch GS for the No.1 seed but we should be able to hold onto the No.2 seed even without Harden for a while.
Harden is a freak of nature, he was actually healed a day later but had to lay low because he needs to stay off of William Stryker's radar. Clutchfans is a safe place though
Well considering this report came out on the 14th day since injury it seems like he was re-evaluated at 2 weeks and determined that he only needed 5-8 more days.
If he comes back that quick, it's probably not a severe pull. Also please ... call it superstitious, when people were saying Harden was so durable, I just cringed and lo and behold he was injured. Remember when they were saying Yao was durable for a big man for his first three years. Let's just keep it low and to ourselves. Also I don't like the idea that he is injury invincible. Sit him sometimes like he is the most important commodity in this organization, like how we all would treat our stuff.
Only if you had suffered through the era of Yao and Tmac. There is a group of us having been here long enough to know stuff that may not be clear to the younger ones. It's like how a father would tell a son - when you are scared, you've learned.
Rockets were cautious with CP3 and his bruised knee. And cautious with CP3 and his adductor (look at him now). They are cautious with Nene. They are being cautious with Harden. If he is ready, then he is ready. I think this board (and Rockets twitter for that matter) is a bit "too" sensitive to the #Rest thing. We can't keep these guys in bubble wrap. Sure caution is good. But if they are ready to hoop, they are ready to hoop.
Read the flipping thread man.... the answers have been posted multiple times after multiple times. He had PRP injections. He timetable for return on a grade 2 hamstring pull with PRP injections is 10 days. We waited 2weeks, an extra 4 days, to even evaluate and consider course of action. On top of already waiting an added 4 days, we are giving him another 4 days or more of rest before being considered. That would be almost 3 weeks or exactly 3 weeks since injury and at least an entire week more than needed.
