Harden off the bench as a 6th man

    I said this along time ago. He plays and has the mentality of a 6th man. Exactly what OKC had him doing. He doesn't have the skill set or mentality to lead a team. Granted he can score with the best of them but he is instant offense, no defense, give him the ball and let him score. He's not a point guard and doesn't seem to understand what a team needs to be effective. When he's the primary and only option he isn't his best because the defense only has to key in on him.

    One of the main reasons players don't reach their full potential playing with him, why he doesn't make other players better. Is simply because he plays best with the ball in his hands, the paint cleared out, players standing on the 3pt line so he has as much room as possible. He doesn't want a center in the paint, he wants one that shoots 3's. He doesn't want a Pg to have the ball he wants one that plays D and shoots 3's.

    He doesn't want to play D and really he doesn't even pass that well.
    He is a 6th man and I believe he should really enjoy that role much better. But I don't believe at this point its something he'll ever willingly go back too.
