My point is leadership has no metrics to measure. More importantly it’s worthless if you can’t produce. There’s a reason Lebron chases other superstars, it’s All about talent acquisition.

As much as Harden has disappointed in previous years, it's hard to blame him now when MDA is running him into the ground. You can't play your starters 40 minutes per game through the season and expect them to do well in the playoffs.

Our current system is crap. We need to develop our bench players whether it's win or lose with them. Load management is important for post-season success.

That really does not seem true given his output. By comparison what do you think Rivers effort is? or Maclemore? They missed alot of shots and thats just two people. Look at the rest of the team. Its talent level. The Rockets problem is talent, not James Hardens effort. His effort was just fine in 2018, we just had better talent around him. CP3 declined and got injured. The Rockets then failed to keep that level of talent the last two seasons so ofcourse we are not as good. Its that simple. Its reminiscent of when Dwight declined and again everyone blamed Harden when really he just didnt have enough talent helping him. He cant do eveyrthing all the time, some times others have to be big and do big things to win.

    CP3 is not the #1 but a great #2
He could not do anything as the #1 .. . .nor push Blake as a #1 to get there
Harden needs a strong HAND OF THE KING

That's a fair take, i have no problem with this, but that's not like saying that it doesn't really matter and talent is all it takes.

LeBron did win a ring with Kyrie as his second best player against a 73 win team. CP3 in 2017-2018 was arguably the better player than Kyrie

Also, with LeBron, given his scoring efficiency in the playoffs, you know he at least brings it at a higher level when he reaches playoffs.

Exactly leadership doesnt create talent. It makes already talented guys better. And if you actually look at Hardens track record guys are better with Harden, but he cant do everything. We need more talent everyone and they mama said the Rockets didnt have enough going into the season not sure why everyone is shocked now.

Harden shows below average effort on every aspect of the game of basketball outside of iso dribbling exhibitions.

To be a genius you have little reading comprehension.
Show me where I put Harden's career was over? What I think are closed are his opportunities in this year's MVP race.
I repeat it again genius, if Harden wants to become a true leader he has to rethink his career. No one doubts his qualities as a good player, what many people doubt are his qualities as a leader!
You have to read the title, genius!

Rockets never should've trade Paul or Melo. 10 games just wasn't enough time to figure things out and the coach was the wrong coach for a team with Melo. Stotts is good at using his players' strengths for success.

That’s debatable, Kyrie murdered Steph that whole series. You could say Kyrie was better than LeBron that series.

Umm this post should disqualify any future posts on this subject from you. You are either intentionally ignoring the fact that CP3 got injured that year and that they also had a guy named Kevin Love or you just dont know basktball.

He was and we would have a ring by now. But it was his skills together with Hardens that got us there. Once he got hurt we were outgunned. All that leadership crap can’t overcome 4 all-stars.
