And Clutch is clearly biased too and gives LOH's much more slack than they should get. Any 99er will tell you that there was true hate for Pippen. The situation was completely different. Pippen was brought in at max salary to be the leader of the stars. Lin never was party of 6 championships. There was absolutely zero Pippen only fans on here. Nobody liked Pippen because of his race or religion. There was true hatred for Pippen because he blamed Barkley and wanted to be traded after one year of play. Lin fans mistaken that people hate them instead of Lin. Rockets fans like Lin, he never set the franchise backwards like Pippen . Everything went downhill after Pippen. No playoff series win, then years of crap because we paid him max salary and got crap back for him. This is real history

It was disgusting, the way Pippen went about announcing his request to be traded. Going on national television and calling out Charles Barkley and his "big butt". It took the entire city of Houston by surprise, coming straight off of a 1st round exit against the Lakers (which Pippen was partly responsible for causing due to a late-game turnover). The fact that Barkley took way less money to allow the Rockets to sign Quitten added fuel to the fire. It wasn't like we were entirely without a future. We had an aging Hakeem who was admittedly a shell of his former self, but we had an incoming up-and-coming guard by the name of Steve Francis along with the signing of Shandon Anderson. But the Pippen interview royally screwed the franchise and all we could get out of Portland was Kelvin Cato (his signing also set the franchise back), Walt Williams, and a bunch of other crap. Portland went on to the Western conference finals. Much to the delight of Rockets fans, the refs punished Quitten with some questionable officiating which helped the Lakers move on to the Finals. Meanwhile, the Rockets entered their darkest era, one that was so full of boring iso-ball, dribble-mania that it forced the league to change the rules of the game by allowing zone defense. It wasn't until we drafted Yao that hope was once again restored to this franchise. These guys that we have on the roster are quite likeable in comparison. Sure Harden doesn't play D sometimes, Asik pouts when he doesn't start, Dwight shoots better with his left hand, and Lin causes unnecessary injuries unto others, but this is a great bunch of youngsters in comparison to what we had during the striped dildo era. We should all be proud of what Morey has put together.
Get well, James. Rockets can't afford many losses while trying to catch SA and fending off LAC and POR. Thank God it wasn't his shooting arm.

Did you defend Harden, Dwight or Asik when they were cut into pieces for various reasons? (Haren/no defense, Dwight sucks isn't worth the max etc., Asik pouting being a vagina and a p***y) No? Thought so, selective memory is golden to some...
I don't want to continue this(which is stupid,Lin didn't make anything intentionally) but (Hilarious) is right ... less than 5/100 posters defended Harden ... even all "mighty" older posters(who i take their opinion more seriously) was doing the same, they were mocking Harden in every thread ( related or not to Harden). Don't act like Lin is the only who is treating badly in this forum.

It's a good point - the board cuts into all the players sometimes. Lin is not the only one. But i would counter, when Harden got cut up for his awful D , his D genuinely was kind of bad. Same for other examples. Asik earned the anger directed towards him. The times Howard has gotten called out he has usually deserved it Can you say the same for the criticism directed at Lin? did he really mean to run into Harden? was he really responsible for the Warriors loss? If people would just call the post_ers out more often on some of the more stupid posts maybe we could hope for some reduction in the amount of LOF/LOH garbage. As it is, it feels like people sometimes just laugh along, so the digs against Lin are encouraged . That only gets the Lin fans angry . They take the bait ... XXX

No it doesn't just get Lin fans angry, it gets all real Rockets fans angry. If your a real fan of the team then you support your players. Especially when said player is the consummate teammate. Real Rockets fans don't spew blind garbage when their player is playing defense. Just in this thread alone people accusations went from Lin injuring Harden on purpose to Lin is too dumb to have went to Harvard. Are these the actions of real Rockets fans? Are these even the actions of rational,intelligent people? In my opinion, these people are worse than any LOF. With LOFs at least you know where they stand. This is a thread about Harden's injury yet at every post you spin it into a LOF vs. LOH showdown.
