apparently cf's wants harden to not acknowledge the rockets in the postseason and flat out beg for LJ. otherwise its harden doesn't want him
I doubt LeBron's coming but I don't see how this means anything one way or another. Harden is just playing it cool and saying, "Yeah, we're already really good." It's good leadership and beats him crying about they're totally screwed without an impact player coming in.
No hints there. Just respect (deserved) for his team. We ARE good enough as built, as long as we're healthy.
Smart response. "We don't need you...but if you come it's fkn over and everyone knows it. You do you playa."
And the Celtics. No guarantee if we make finals vs a healthy Celtics that we win as presently constructed.
Harden better step up in the playoffs next year then because if CP3 goes down again, we ain't winning ****.
with a healthy ryan and cp, rockets could've won it.would make mbah redundant with pj/ariza not playing the whole game as pf.
Ah, not sure what everyone is reading into with Harden's statement about not needing anyone else. The Rockets had enough depth and player talent last year, just not enough luck and health. What did the media and everyone else expect Harden to say during his MVP speech? That this team was a player, no a hamstring away from being in the NBA finals? The only reason why Houston has been a story line for the media is because outside of the Rockets, no other team can legitimately contend with the GSW in the Western Conference. That being stated, this new cap situation looks like a financial nightmare to anyone except Daryl Morey. Teams know we have to get rid of Anderson to make room for any future dealings, I think if that hurdle gets eliminated we may have a shot at our own free agents then possibly one of the other big names.
I’m scared of a 2015 like crash if harden shows up out of shape next season like we did last time we came off the WCF
