I agree. On the one game Paul played (hurt) he looked really good in the lineup with Gordon.
The versatility Gordon provides, being able to play on and off the ball, shoot, create, cut and penetrate, together with solid defense is a major factor in the success of this team.
I actually think that the Paul-Gordon combo will light fire in the leauge.

 

I am looking forward to the: Paul / Harden / Gordon / Ariza / Capela lineup myself.

Unfortunately, Harden looks more gassed in the first 5 mins of the game than the last 5 mins. Those stupid turnovers will hurt us in the postseason

 

Curry is on on Hardens level no doubt and if u rate him better it's the different of 1 maybe 2 spots in the overall player rankings.

But cp3 is light years better as an individual player than klay Thompson.

Now in terms of fit? Sure I'd give the splash bros the edge because they've been playing together 5+ years and we know it works and is good enough to win a championship. But also we haven't seen even 100min of harden and cp3 on the court together and that's the biggest factor imo.

But pure talents I don't think anyone tops what the rockets have.

And adding Gordon into the equation we're looking at potentially the best guard rotation from a talent standpoint in NBA history.

 

Remember when there were people on this board who were wanting to trade Capela and/or Gordon for Melo? Gordon's stats are very close to Melo's with a higher PER.

 

Damn, I thought that was just a Jimmy statline or something.
