Tilman may know what all owners may realize. Not only did Morey f*** everybody's money up but Kobe passed too and there is no way the Rockets are winning the championship this season. Even if they are good enough. The league will make sure they don't win it. Either the Lakers or Clippers will win it all this season. Why pay the luxury tax? As a fan of Harden and the Rockets Id love for the Rockets to pay the tax and get some great talent to surround Harden and Westbrook with. But also from a business perspective, I understand why he made that decision. I expect him to pay the tax next season.

You could have at least made the Harden trade package believable. :D

For the last 3 years he always says he will pay the luxury tax the following season. It has yet to happen. At some point actions speak louder than words.

I honestly thought he would have some pride as a Houstonian. I was so wrong.

    Maybe idk .

If James got his hopes up about getting a certain player on the team and it was nixed by Tilman because it put us over the tax then he might be miffed.

I don't care what happened before and I'm not taking up for Tilman. I know what he's said. But this year any owner of the Rockets would be dumb as hell to pay the luxury tax, given the circumstances.

Cause it's a ridiculous comment and obviously not true lol. Also, only sith deal in absolutes...

To be clear, I wouldn't be surprised if Harden was frustrated with Tilman, but I don't think this report is true.

Correction. He's breaking his back to get scoring records & triple doubles, just to QUIT in the playoffs. No KD, no Kawhi, is not over matched

Harden pretty close to the Morris twins
Wonder if we had a deal to bring one here, but we refused and clippers stole one
