Even when they are saying positive things about the Rockets, I still have to turn them off. They should change that shows name to Unwatchable.

 

What I can’t stand is this bs narrative that the Rox only won because the Clips lost their “closer” for a questionable ejection. So the Clips have 2 big time 2 way all stars but losing LWill is a game changer. Even when the Rox win they lose. Insane

Yeah there is always a narrative when it comes to the Rockets especially when they play spoiler like last night. No onn on TNT expected them to come back and win that especially defensively since the Clippers are the darling Defensive team (full disclosure I didn’t expect them to come back either lol) in the NBA. The talking heads always have to come up with a new set of excuses or criteria why the Rockets are the ugly red headed step-child in the league and it bugs them when they buck the narrative!

 

Is it just me or did Kenny and Charles look pissed that Houston won? Am I imagining this?

I didn’t quite see them as pissed, but it kinda ruined their narratives that LAC are the best defensive team in the NBA, that they (LAC) are the best team in the NBA, that it’s just a 3 horse race between LAL, LAC, and Bucks. They had to come off their expert halftime analysis where they put pretty much buried the Rockets, and come up with counterpoints as to why Houston actually won the game after being down 15. They all very vaguely/reluctantly stated the Rockets could be there challenging in the end though, but you knew they didn’t believe it....

 

right, and more importantly, what does @BasketMAD think?
