you know he leads the league in drives right? 22 drives a night. thats not stubborn that's determined right there.
and if moreys analytics and MDAs game plan tells him it better to either shoot 3s, pass to the open man, or drive and score or pass to the open man than taking a midrange why is it his fault?

Dirk was constantly on cheat mode as a shooter. He is the best 7ft shooter basketball history.

and the last game everyone else not harden and tucket were like 2 of 23 from behind the arc but everyone's totally alright with that. no one's calling ego or house lazy or stubborn..

I understand. I shouldn’t have responded to your post. I was responding in general to where I see the math even fail Harden late in games. The lack of using the mid range or a post up in those specific instances should at least be explored if his step back isn’t falling IMHO. I don’t have a problem with the math outside of those situations.

What's interesting is that the math actually supports what you're saying. Late in close games, while leading, the math shows that you will get more wins going for midrange or post ups over 3s, and Morey has stated this publicly. I've never been able to figure out why it doesn't seem to translate onto the court. Either stubbornness from Harden, D'antoni, or both, is my best guess.

Dirk is a cheat code all around to me he’s easily one of the best PF of all time.

I’m mainly talking about how dirks career was perceived before his title.

    He won mvp

Won 67 games and was bounced out in the first round to an 8 seed.

He was known as a choker.

He has that epic win against the heat and he’s a top 25 player off all time and is known as a winner.

Harden up to 37 ppg on 37% from the field and 23% from 3...FG% will be back to 43-44% eventually, and 3 point percentage will creep up to normal as well

    nothing to worry about

Harden is also averaging like 17 free throws a game and shooting well over 90% from the line...even when his shot is not falling, he still produces

    actually 95% FT

plus 22 drives a game @ 63% FG producing 23 pts (own points, FTs, assist points) off drives per game

alot more thread worthy issues of the rockets harden is the least of Tilman, Morey and MDA's worry

They never blame the role players and they have it easy shooting open shots. Its always blame Harden. Ive been trying to make that point for awhile now. Morey trots out g leaguers and old heads with Harden year in and year out wasting his prime and if you dont go deep in the playoffs its Hardens fault when we really had no business especially last year even making the playoffs.

Expecting Harden to shoot like Dirk, Curry, or anyone like that is asking too much. Harden can win with his all around game instead.

Harden is a completely different player then dirk or curry.

    They all are great.

I was talking about the narrative around harden and his individual success not translating to championships much like dirk till he finally had a historic run beating the heat.

And harden does a lot of things dirk and curry can’t do.

Shoot curry couldn’t even last 5 games trying to carry a huge load.

Not to mention his team was losing even with 2 other allstars still playing and his efficiency was way down for his standards.

Its not that easy to do what harden and Lebron have done for years now.

Getting your team to 50+ wins every year and individually being great is hard. Ppl have taken harden for granted and seriously tried to downplay his game and ability to win when surrounded by less

The only thing Stephanie curry does better then James is shoot and shimmy like a skinny belly dancer who just escaped a Ethiopian refugee camp.Stephanie was being exposed for the fraud that he is before the hand injury. Dude can’t carry a team
