My wife is a school librarian and went to a new school this year that is 50% black kids. My 6 and 8 year olds go with her. We are so happy that our kids get to grow up in Houston where they are interacting with kids of all races and are exposed to so many cultures. They don’t see color, they just see friends.
Hey @Rocket River, I know we've talked about him in the past, have you had a chance to watch the Bass Reeves tv show? I haven't yet, was just curious.
My niece by marriage is 50 percent black. - I’m proud when she calls me uncle -Nothing better than family and proud of the close friendship they have with her cousins which are my daughters. That’s what it’s about Happy Black History !
Sadly, Tinman made my ignore list. I like the guy but his woke obsession got real tired. You saw D last year right? How was the show?
Great article from the new issue of Texas Monthly, I had never heard of Daniel Webster Wallace before. I also didn't know that there's a Black Cowboy Museum in Rosenburg. https://www.texasmonthly.com/being-...became-a-cowboy-a-rancher-and-a-texas-legend/
