I watched one full game and several highlights of the Iranian team in the recent Asian Championship tournament.

I must say Haddadi will be a good fit for this team. He's like the early Yao where his low post foot works still need a lot development but he is agile in the high post area, very good passer and has high basketball IQ. He is aggressive at the board

I cant stop laughing. I call the guy LaDiDaDi. I think he does have good skills for a big guy. I'm not sure he will become a all star, but he has good skills and is a big kinda athletic guy. Like i said before, i would rather have a 7'2 project in Ladidadi than a 6'6 one in Dorsey.

Hadi dadi deserves at least 10 pages of comments. Pick it up, people, this guy is an All-Star!

He was actually spotted out and about today:

I saw the final game Iran vs China. Hamed is decent on the offensive end, he hustles for rebounds and put backs. His main weakness is on the defensive end. I don't think he should have joined the NBA, he would have done better staying in Iran. And no, Yao would not have won against Iran. Yao's team mates are rubbish. Even if he scores a whole mouthful, it wouldn't be enough.

I'm Muslim and I was not offended by the terrorist comment. It was clearly a joke. People gotta ligten up.

As for Hey-Daddy, LOL @ him thinking Iran would beat China with a healthy Yao. The world champion Lakers wouldn't have even beaten the Rockets with a healthy Yao, his impact is huge.

I would be interested to see what this guy could do better than what Pops Mensah could do for us. He has potential.

However, one V-Span was enough for me. The Shaq of Iran's attitude is not how I like my players.
