W00T! Sorry Fade! He's me keeper in the Fade league and I thought I was done after his guy through a complete game shutout. I now have one pitcher with a no hitter and one with a perfect game in the same season, and it's not even June!
maybe, not sure how much of it is that. but a lot of teams are going back to emphasizing pitching/defense rather than a bunch of long ball hitters.
Thats crazy 2nd this season. And I think Mark Burleahs perfect game was last season...... Pitchers these days are putting up some monster stats....
MLB lowered steroid testing on pitchers and raised it on hitters, decided to throw a curveball at all the fans.
Jimenez was the other guy to throw a no-hitter this season. And I remember seeing at least a few near no-hitters.
Halladay is amazing, I've seen him pitch numerous times, to me he's been the best pitcher in baseball for quite some time now. Congrats to him, he's actually getting some love now that he's left Can-a-da.
perfect game means you dont walk or hit a batter. no one reaches base at all. a no hitter you can still walk or hit a batter that puts them on base.
