Losing Gerald Green would upset me more than losing 0forThreeza. Bigger role, he is going to improve.

Perfectly capable fill in rotation player who at this point in his career won't rock the boat if he doesn't get minutes, but will be ready if he does.

Certainly easy to root for a guy repping the 713 as hard as he does.

Actually feel a tiny bit bad for him -- he's worth a tad more than vet min, I think, especially with the increased load he'll probably see this coming year.

But it's great news for the org and I'm so happy he'll be here.

I feel bad for Gerald, he deserves more, but this guy truly shows he's all about the Rockets and winning.

Meh, he was two days away from retirement. At this point he just wants to ball for his hometown team another year or two before hanging it up for good

Man, if he could D-up for a full season like the wing we just lost ... total win-win.

This is the reason they didn't give him any minor raise bump allowed or sign to a multiyear. They probably already discussed with him coming back year after year. He loves it here, we love him...

In the most important game of the season -- Game 7 against the Warriors, Gerald Green actually hit a three (unlike 0-12) and led the team in plus-minus with a +10.

I hope he stays in Houston till he retires. What a great Rocket.
