RANT: So I am using the incline bench and this 240 juice head comes up to me and asks me "how many sets do you have left" I said replied 4. He then said " can i get you to use the bench down there, I need it to incline" I said you can use it when I'm done. He said "what". I stood up and said you heard me and he proceeded to walk away. The thing is I am peacefully working out and this guy has the nerve to talk to me and disturb me. I would never do that.. If I had an question for someone I would say "excuse me sir" or just be polite.
Brosef there was an incline bench 6 feet down from us that was not even occupied.. He was just being a douche..
You know someone is using a machine if a personal item like gym bag is next to it. Some jerk off is using wads of white paper and LEAVING it. Four machines ten feet apart with same **** the other night.
it's called circuit training you need to use all 4 machines in a specific sequence, with a specific time cadence.
if you want to circuit train, join a cross fit gym. circuit training in a normal gym is so inconsiderate and asinine.
LOL but really imagine all the small skinny guys that would have been scared of this p***y at the gym and would have probably moved. That guy was a douche. If I seem him again I am going to invite him to a friendly 10 round sparring session.
You can't do circuit training in perfect sequence when the gym is busy because you can't call dibs on several machines at once.
Thank you! 100% agreed! So many people are so inconsiderate at the gym. I don't go there to talk or have some sort of social gathering. I go there to workout. I don't disturb or talk to anyone and therefore I expect to be left alone.
yet.. some people try.... until they run into me who doesn't give a F if they are circuit training, and NO you can not work in.
ok you don't own the gym tough guy not that hard to let folks work in, at a minimum it's good to have somebody to push you anyways if you're not there to get in a serious workout, then step aside and let those who are get their work in
I completely disagree with you.. I have never "worked in" with anyone. I go to the gym to workout by myself. I will do my set and once I am done then whoever wants to use it can use it.
you're right.. i don't... that's why i use 1 piece of equipment at a time. i don't let people work in because i don't take much time between sets. btw.. i don't need people "pushing" me at the gym. i am stronger than most, and i know my limits and proper form.
Were you using the incline bench in front of the heavy dumbbells (80 lb+)? If so, how heavy were your dumbbells? A lot of gyms tend to have only one adjustable bench in front of their heavy dumbbells. It's extremely annoying to see people using that bench while working out with light dumbbells.
Texx it's a public gym. You want to "work in" or do something a certain way? Then buy your own damn equipment. End of story. Wait your turn.
