Makes me like this guy even more.

Les Alexander needs to become a better human being to make himself worthy of high character superstars like Blake Griffin. Start by offering extensions to Rick Adelman and Chuck Hayes, who deserve them. Les is not a bad guy but Griffin is not going to be impressed just by Les' effort in castrating cats and dogs.

No way Griffin comes to Houston with the way Alexander is doing business the last few years. My guess is with Bynum not a future starting center anymore the guy will go to the Lakers. Mark my words

I have his phone number. Should I give him a call and ask him if he wants to come to Houston? ;)

Griffin should leave for the sake of Clippers basketball. This action will force sevre reaction, Sterling will surely be dealt with if Griffin left. Once Sterling leaves, the Clippers can truly rebuild.

In the mean time - Sterling will probably hire some PR specialists to try and change his image in the media.

We need to all get in on this.

A - we need a team of people to follow around Sterling and document his every dickish move.
B - we need to start encouraging Les to donate even more to charities and start staging photographs of him with puppies and children and stuff.
C - we need to start a tip jar where we donate money that will go to the charity of his choosing if Blake Griffin becomes a rocket in 2012.

haha. Seriously, there isn't much I wouldn't do to land Griffin.

My manager told me about when a friend of his went to a Donald Sterling charity event last year. It was held in a nice penthouse suite in one of Sterling's deluxe plazas.

The friend arrives at the door, and its Donald Sterling, his staff and BLAKE Griffin greeting people as they come through. Its cool, and its a classy affair. Though he said Griffin looked like he did NOT EVEN want to be there. How he looked really out of place in that environment with what they were trying to accomplish, trying to do the "upscale" meet & greet and giving a speech about Sterling's philanthropic contributions to those in need.

This was when Griffin was still injured. So the friend assumed, maybe properly, he looked really "put up to it", that Sterling thought he's just not going to have his prized dollar star just sitting around getting paid doing nothing, he's gonna "get his money's worth" and make him useful.

Griffin always looks listless as we've come to know. I didnt think the friend's assessment was the case. But the friend said there were also women greeters wearing short shorts with Donald Sterling's name written across the butt? I looked on youtube for this and sure enough it WAS there  (The video isnt on youtube anymore though. ) So it ended up being stereotypical Beverly Hills gala, "name in the paper" sleezy self promotion.

Yeah I know, "Cool story, bro", ado about nothing. I'm thinking the women were just the Clippers dance team and not a bunch of hired hoochies. But thats how "Donald Sterling rolls" and we get some unexpected footage of babes out of it. I don't know if thats sleezy or if Les Alexander should be partying it up Sterling style

I think all teams have expectations for their players to participate in fund-raising events. And, I wouldn't be surprised for a rookie to feel a bit out of place at a ritzy event.

I'm not going to hold my breath that Griffin's going to have any impact on the Clippers ownership. Sterling doesn't care very much about basketball, so he's not going to care very much if Griffin leaves. And the league won't be changing their approach to Sterling either. In the best case scenario, Griffin becomes such a pain in the ass, they trade him to a real team.

I'm not a fan of Griffin like most people here but I hope to God he leaves that ****hole of a team. Let him join a group of superfriends, it doesn't matter.

The look on Griffin's face when he was asked to talk is PRICELESS. He obviously had NO idea he was gonna be asked to say something.

Those poor guys playing for that idiot. They have absolutely no chance to win. Sterling is just going to trash them out if they get anything going.

Is this your way of saying you think Blake Griffin would prefer to sign with the team of humans?

Elgin Baylor was not fired due to racial discrimination.

    He was a horrible GM.

But yeah, smart move by Blake.
