With addition of Dalembert, the Rockets will release Greg Smith. At 20-yrs-old, 6-10 and as strong as a fork lift, he has a future in NBA.

Greg Smith didn't do nothing but draw a 3 second violation yesterday and he didn't do much the other game. What's the big deal with him...

It's a shame but there wouldn't even be garbage minutes with Dalembert and once Patterson starts playing.

Why haven't they released Lin too? They now have 15 players with guaranteed contracts.

Rockets could regret this move. Maybe he comes back later if injuries come to any bigs.

A potentially good defensive role player like Smith could have been useful.

I have a feeling these decisions are being made by Kevin McHale

Adrien did pretty well for someone who joined the team yesterday. He was under contract and already playing for an euro team. so they must like him enough to guarantee him the money to give that up.

ok one down one to go i believe they will keep flynn over lin simply because flynn healthy is more valuable yes only if healthy, i really like lin's game but i think rox to chhose flynn over lin because McHale is familiar with Flynn' game bacl in minnesota. either way it goes i just hope they keep adrien he will be somewhat what hayes brought us inn the past, of course nobody replaces hayes but hes somewhat similar.

It never ceases to amaze me how every year, the scrubbish 20th man that gets cut has a legion of followers saying how we will rue the day.

    YOU'LL RUE THE DAY MORAY!!!!!!

but alas, the ish's and email's and also ran's invariably fall into obscurity.

the only player that even came close to making the rockets question themselves was Kelenna AsaBuick

and that was only a mild, meh

Smith is a D-League player that might make a roster later this year or next, if ever

I'm ok with this as long as it leads into a resigning of Chuck very soon.

He looks like Chuck Hayes, that's the only reason any of you like him. I liked him a little but he wouldn't have touched the court anyway.

Sucks for him, he seems like a good kid but he should be fine
