She'll get it but I think you're slacking. My wife knew who was the greatest the day she re-met me (long story)...and I have never let her forget it!

What are with these new threads involving wives' opinions on the Rockets? They don't even watch sports...

My wife refers to Scola as, "DARLA," because she says he looks like an 8th grade girl.

    lol nice OP.

Man, I lucked out, my wife really has a great memory and sports attention span. I live near Dallas now, and she's been here all her life. She grew up a Rangers fanatic, and I didn't really watch baseball growing up, so we've kind've taken over each others' teams. She gets really pissed tho, because she says its not fair that since we've been together, the Rockets roster just CHANGES so much every year and she cant root for anyone or remember their names. She always tries to plan a trip down so we can see the Rockets play in Houston.

We started seeing each other in '09, so originally yeah... Yao, Tmac, Artest, Scola, Brooks, Deke, Hayes, etc. besides the injury BS, good times. She loved them, especially Scola, Hayes and Brooks.

Now she's really happy that Brooks is back, even just in a limited role. During playoff games she'd look at me and say "why wasn't he playing more in the season? He'd probably be even BETTER now!" and going all crazy on his minutes. "Dammit, why don't they put Brooks in?" lol @ familiarity (although sometimes I did think the same).

So now she knows them all, well all the important parts. She'll remember Harden, Parsons (loves), Asik (always says name wrong), Lin, Beverly and Brooks and McHale our gint limping zombie coach (her words). I hope not much of that changes next year, because shes always more excitable when she's knowledgeable.

    anyways. /end novel.

Sounds like she has good wife skills. She should start a blog and maybe other wives will catch on. :)

My wife is waaayyyy hotter than Sofia!!!!

    Two more things:
    1) She made me say that
    2) I don't think she knows how spoiler tags work

My wife stopped trying a long time ago. Around the time I told her Cassell was no longer a Rocket, she decided the names changed too often. And, that was the age of the Dawson 6-year contract. With Morey in charge, there's no way.

It's a shame ya'll couldn't work it out. Hopefully she doesn't take you too bad in the divorce proceedings. Be sure to get all the sports memorabilia.
