    yeah, that is what i mean...

    the translation of what i post in chinese is:
    matthaus, good thread! btw, i am a little confused, is the "forum status" related with registration date? hope i can start a thread and make a topic, and someone just suggest the thread should be written in english, if u couldn't type it, then find someone else to translate for u, maybe i can help u. i am doubted whether it is impolite or not that i post in chinese. i like the forum very much, seeing many hometown fellas joining in...go rox! keep on moving! never give up!

    ps: this is the 1st time i post in chinese, i just wanna tell sth to matthaus, let him know what i suggest accurately, unless someone need me to do that i will not post in chinese again, yeah, i got u, brantonli24, it is impolite to post in chinese here...

    I think there was a period of free registration (before the current one), I think around the time Yao was drafted? and the people who signed up in that period have the status of 'Junior Member'. Bah, I've been downgraded to simply 'Member'. Guess I'll have to work harder on the quality of my posts.

    And another note: don't rely only on spell check. It will not catch the following incorrect word usages (correction is in parentheses):

    For all those giving Matthaus a hard time for poor English and using Babelfish just imagine what the English post must look like when run through Babelfish into Chinese.

    Keep up the effort Matthaus. My Chinese is pretty poor but I've been watching Chinese TV on TVKOO to try to improve it so you might try watching some English language TV to help your English.

    One way of doing it is by pinyin, and since that is made up of the english alphabet that sounds like Chinese words, the latter appears when the correct pronouncation is put in. Another way is assembling various strokes that are printed on different keys, and if you hit the right combination of strokes, it will form a word and it appears. I never bothered to learn that one, found it too boring.
