Just read the Chronicles article on Ming in the Sports 2 section. If you want to know what players think of Ming read it. Also saw an article that Ming has injured his ribs. The article is 3/4 of the page.
Several think he is ready for the NBA right now but others think he might need a year.

Sorry it was a hip injury and no report on how bad.
