He's definitely an underdog in this situation, but I think Scola has a shot at the All Star Game this year.

By default, Pau, Dirk and Duncan will be there. But, this year, there's no Amare or Boozer. Yao probably won't deserve it, but I'll bet on him being there.

At the moment, Luis is one of only 3 players (that I can find) averaging 20 points & 10 rebounds. The other two are Gasol and Dwight Howard.

So, yeah - let's get the ball rolling on this. Make some noise for Scola wherever you can find an audience...it's never too early to get the campaign going.

FFS, Chris Kaman was an all star last year.

He won't get voted in but I can see the coaches adding him to the roster. If Gasol is going to considered a center then either Dirk or Duncan will get the nod as the fan vote, root for Dirk because Timmy won't have the numbers.

That would be great to see him on the team. He's playing with a consistency I didn't think he was capable of. I hope his playing time over the summer doesn't catch up with him though.

I think he has a better chance at All-NBA third team than an all-star actually.

Need to somehow get this message to China....

He deserves it, but I think it's a long shot.

Blake Griffin might catch up to him.

I just added up his numbers since the Landry trade. Including the 9 games this year, he is 20.4 ppg and 9.6 rpg since he started getting more minutes post-Landry.

Those are amazing numbers for a guy making $7.8 million this season. I think Luis deserves to be in the conversation, but in my opinion, the Rockets would really have to put up some wins for him to have a chance.

Your right Griffin might catch him, but I would love to see Scola suit up

C'mon China help us out lol.

Or hopefully he can keep up this level of play and the coaches put him on

Scola is guaranteed to make it this year, 2 billion > 350 million.

We need one of the Chinese fans to get Rockets fans in China on board with this notion - Scola should definitely be in the All Star Game.

You're right...I think that would probably satisfy him more than an all-star nod...because it exemplifies production throughout the season and not some phantom fan voting or coaches playing favorites....lets face it Duncan gonna make it one way or the other!!!

If averaging 22/10 on 50+% fg isn't enough for the all star game, I'm not sure what is.
