Handsome, cheap, jack-of-all trade players who a fan can relate to on a personal level. Just my guess..

 

Seems awfully self-fulfilling when their coverage of the Rockets has been far greater than either of those teams. They're a big part of making the Rockets a trendy discussion point.

 

The ones they mentioned seems to have something in common... DLee, Parsons, Gallinari.

 

Cool.

Let's make the playoffs though.

Being the trendiest team is better than winning a championship. A team wins a championship every season.. but how often does a team become the trendiest team? We're setting history here

 

Carles is hysterical. For those of you who aren't familiar with his work, he writes and maintains the ever so popular blog Hipster Runoff. He is a Texas native (I think San Antonio).

I love that Grantland has him contribute on an occasion. I don't read HR any more because it just ran thin but his writing is still top notch and I always make a point to read his Grantland pieces.

 

Brown hair? Handsome? Six degrees of separation to Jeremy Lin?

 

And Gallo is likely one of DEN's two most talented guys.

 

The guy who makes less than a million a year. I think most would find that relatable.
