Long article but definitely worth the read. It reads better through the link than it does in the quoted text above.
Clutch's sticky at the top of the Dish says to post the sources. Also, half the people here won't click the link and will only read the article if it's posted through the forum.
if maury was desperate, to the point of holding up a boom box and playing in your eyes, the deal would have already gotten done. Bad Cusack movie to compare it to. You want a cusack movie, how a bout "The sure thing" Because Everyone, with the exception of the national media and some local idiots, knows that the rockets have the best package to offer.
Good article. I don't really agree that Dwight has fallen in their laps though. I actually think it's kind of funny how all the LAL fans are SO CONVINCED Dwight is a done deal to the Lakers. It's going to be so wonderful when the Rockets trade for him directly, and all LA has to look forward to is... two years of... contending for a title with Kobe and Nash... damnit. Well, it will still be fun to steal Dwight from them.
loved the Cuban part: "Normally I'd have more barbs here … but I actually enjoy Shark Tank. I fully support Cuban's decision to throw away Dallas's 2012 title defense to create enough cap space to potentially sign a marquee free agent like Williams, then to miss THE crucial pitch meeting with Williams because he was contractually obligated to tape a reality-TV show. I care more about Shark Tank than the fate of the Mavericks." I don't even know what Shark Tank is, but I agree with this statement.
