This team would be a title contender with Lowry & Ariza.

It's good that he admits and acknowledges his immaturity with Coach Mchale. He was straight up Beast on the Rox

Yup, I would bet right after McHale said that, Lowry immediately decided he didn't want to be coached by him again.

From what some of you are saying, you're saying we could've had lowry if we didn't ask him to wait? That's a big mistake on our part if true :(

He should've been our main priority in the off season, not bosh or melo.

I agree to an extent, but in hindsight if you can go for Bosh you go for it. I believe even Bosh has said that he was close to signing here until the last minute.

Lowry was on ESPN Radio with Dan LeBatard yesterday, saying he was "close" to leaving the Raptors. Said he was "a phone call away" from joining another team in an era code he "knows well".

Indeed just wanted the Rockets to commit to him, it sounds like.

Ugh. Lowry and Ariza would have been a good off-season.

Really frustrating but I still believe the team is a PF, not a PG, away from being a title contender. IMO, and I could be wrong, adding a Milsap-esque player to our current team would create greater dividends.

Oh, and screw Melo for stringing us along.

The Rockets need one more piece, regardless of position. It appears Morey might have missed his chance to add that piece.

wheres the guy in the cybrex thread saying lowry didn't want to come here? he wanted to stay with raptors.

like I said if morey would've put $10-12mill on table that night lowry would've came here to play with harden, howard, parsons ! He wouldn't have thought twice ! morey wanted to see about melo

area code he knows well? philly with hinkie thus the rumors of trading their rookie.
makes perfect sense for speculation purposes.

It's a shame but if I was Morey I would have carried on just the same... we were a hair away from Bosh/Parsons and a title shot. No regrets.

You can rationalize Morey's position all you want but this hurts.

    Hindsight..

Beverley is more than capable starter, especially if we add a Melo or Bosh.
