jeez man..i wasted an hour watching this hoping we'd get some of the spotlight did they just have a segment talking about laker chances of making the 8th seed? are you ****ing kidding me??? ramona is like...it's an aberration for the lakers to have terrible back to back seasons...well i guess now's a start biotch
I was initially pretty excited about this show, but it's just more of the same. You would think with a show that isn't weekly they would try to cover a bigger swath of the NBA..
Yup. I had hopes that it would be more like the actual Grantland website that encompasses the entire league, but I forget that it's on primetime ESPN. Naturally they're going to cater to the usual markets/headlines/etc. I thought the first episode was solid, but this one was rather boring. I'll continue to watch just because I like Bill and Jalen talking basketball, though.
Yeah, Shaq has really brought down Inside the NBA IMO. I thought EJ, Kenny, and Chuck had great chemistry together but Shaq's constant interruptions and talking over guys has brought the show down.
Agreed but to compare a show like grantland basketball hour with inside the nba isn't fair. One is a show where you actually get some insight and learn something about basketball.....the other is to make you laugh.
we're only relevant when they talk about the thunder, and how they could've used harden right about now f the media i really hope we win a chip this year i've been waiting 20 years.
Another head's up.

FYI: We have a new Grantland Basketball Hour show coming tonight on ESPN at 7pm. If the Rockets ever get mentioned it's 100% because of Harden and the discussion is entirely on Harden.
Thought it was hilarious how Bill progressively got more upset about the Rondo trade through the show.

Very unfortunate that James and the Rockets had a dud of a game vs GSW the other night. He would need another monster scoring night and a good win vs Curry and Thompson to re-insert himself into the MVP conversation. c'mon James, mental toughness ... you gotta keep your poise when things aren't go your way
