Prolly my favorite non-Rocket ever. He is and always was a class A act and great role model. Hope he wins a ring somewhere before he retires.
He was such a beast back in a day and he surprised me when he made a move to the Phoenix. It turned out great for him and he is playing with such unseen desire it is really beautiful to see. All those freaky ankle injuries turned to be a major test which he passed and got on through with his career. Most of people dismissed him after his first injury and needless to say everyone would after seeing his tibia being SEPARATED from the ankle. Now look at him...dunking all over the place
Grant was a great player and now is a great role player. His defense is pretty remarkable for a guy with that many injuries. But still, even in his prime he had a major weakness and distraction that hurt him come playoff time: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iBcoUPkUn7g?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iBcoUPkUn7g?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
